Fred Fowler, high school vocational teacher goes google!
Mr. Fowler's photography classes go Google. Beginning the 14-15 school year Fred Fowler, Vocational teacher at the high school, began using Google Drive to have his students submit their photography assignments to him. He also uses Google Drive to provide information to his students. Fred has found that Google sharing has been a time saver for him and his students. He has found it easier to have students submit their photography assignments via the Google Drive and he also likes that he has easy access to them. It has been a savings in paper and no loss of class time for printing.
This was so quick and easy to set up. Fred set up a folder for each of his photography courses, blocks 2 and 4, and he also had each student create and share a folder with him. He put these folders inside his block folders. Now when students submit work by putting it in their shared folder it is automatically organized by student within each block. If you would be interested in using Google in your classroom, contact Dr. Sipe, ext. 1007 or [email protected] to have her come out and help you get up and running.
