Mr. Meszaros shared, "It's an awesome tool for students and parents to access what we are doing in class." He explained that it allows him to utilize a variety of web tools and add them into the wiki thus providing instruction in many ways. He adds content related science songs, self-created videos, web links, learning simulations/games as well as helpful pdfs and Powerpoints.
Steve Meszaros, 7th grade teacher of science, engages his students with his course wiki. Check it out at click on the wiki photo below to visit Steve's wikispace . The students shared that it's fun working on the wikispace because it's easier then listening to the teacher talk or reading the book. It makes the information easier to learn because of the many ways that it is being presented. One student stated, "It makes science more interesting." Kudos to Mr. Meszaros for all the effort he put into making his wiki an interesting, fun, and engaging learning tool for his students.
